The mass school shooting in Parkland, Florida in February left a nation in mourning. It was also a pivotal moment in Donald Trump’s presidency, as a group of young survivors began turbocharging the campaign for gun control.

They marched, gave speeches, and called on their generation to vote. And that generation appeared to be listening. Guns were, and continue to be, at the forefront of many voters minds.
