Touching Tribute Easter Egg Found in Spyro Reignited Trilogy

A very touching Easter Egg was found in the Spyro Reignited Trilogy that pays tribute to a very special mother.

About a month ago, Reddit user TheChronoShadow posted about his love for Spyro, specifically Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon, and asked if his mother, who was battling metastatic breast cancer, could be immortalized in the game that meant so much to the both of them.

TheChronoShadow was also dealing with cancer and had surgery at the end of last month, but wanted nothing more than to honor his mother.

When the Spyro Reignited Trilogy was delayed, he was worried he may not get the chance to play Spyro 3 again with his mother, but wanted to do all he could to make his dream come true and reached out to the community.

Well, Toys For Bob heard his story and now the name Parvinder, TheChronoShadow’s mom, is forever etched in four paintings in Spyro 3’s Midday Gardens homeworld.

Found by YouTuber Canadian Guy Eh, this awesome Easter Egg was hinted to him by “someone close to the project.”

TheChronoShadow has since found out about this and posted a comment on the video and said “shh it’s a secret to everybody. But in all honestly thanks for making a video about it. I was going to thank everyone and the reddit soon once I feel a bit more up too it. I also don’t want this to just represent my mom but all moms that work hard like this so anyone that walks past the wall can think of their mom and all the wonderful things she’s done for us. Can’t thank TFB enough or the Spyro community. Thanks you guys.”

This is an incredible gesture by Toys For Bob and shows the power and impact gaming can have on the community and those who love to play.
