ROH News: TV taping set for Pittsburgh, lineup for Survival of the Fittest Tournament with several new faces

-ROH returns to action next with a “Steel City Excellent” TV taping on Nov. 3 in Pittsburgh, Penn.

-ROH’s next streaming live event will be Survival of the Fittest, which will see 12 men compete in a one-night tournament with the winner of the finals getting a shot at the ROH World Title on Nov. 4 in Columbus, Ohio. The field features a lot of fresh faces competing for a shot at the ROH World Title. The format of the tournament will see six first round matches with the winners of each first round match advancing to to the finals, which is a Six-Way Elimination match.

The first round matches announced so far include Jonathan Gresham vs. Tracy Williams, Christopher Daniels vs. The Beer City Bruiser, and P.J. Black vs. Luchasaurus. Other entrants in the tournament include Dalton Castle, Adam Page, Flip Gordon, Andrew Everett, Guerrero Maya Jr., and Stuka Jr.

Other matches announced for Survival of the Fittest include ROH World Six Man Tag Team Champions Bullet Club (The Young Bucks & Cody Rhodes) vs. The Kingdom (Matt Taven & Vinny Marseglia & T.K. O’Ryan) and ROH World Champion Jay Lethal and ROH World TV Champion Jeff Cobb vs. S.C.U. (Frankie Kazarian & Scorpio Sky). The show will air live for Honor Club members at ROHWrestling.com.
