Latest on Sasha Banks, Undertaker’s Status, Miz/Bryan’s SSD Match

WWE Superstar Sasha Banks has been out of action for quite some time due to an unspecified injury. The company has refused to release information on Banks’ injury, and she was also removed from the Mixed Match Challenge due to the injury. Her exclusion from the posters for the upcoming Evolution event have caused fans to worry that she be missing out on the event later this month. Fortunately, it does indeed appear that she will be good to go for the show. According to a report from PWInsider, Sasha Banks is now scheduled to go back on the road with the rest of the WWE crew starting next week for some live events. Hopefully, this means that Sasha will be ready to compete at Evolution on October 28th.
The Undertaker has been making more appearances than usual on WWE programming as of late. Undertaker had been featured on Raw during the buildup to his match against Triple H at Super Show-Down, and that it likely to continue until he and Kane face Shawn Michaels and Triple H at Crown Jewel on November 2nd. However, according to Ringside News, The Undertaker has already agreed to work a match at WrestleMania 35 in April. His status for the Survivor Series event later in November is unknown, but it does seem likely that WWE will try to book him for that show. It was even mentioned that his tag team match at Crown Jewel could be moved to Survivor Series if the aforementioned event does end up being cancelled.
Daniel Bryan and The Miz have been having a feud that has been building up as far back as the original days of NXT in 2010. Perhaps this is why it seemed strange for their match at Super Show-Down to last merely seconds before Bryan got the win with a roll-up. To WWE though, this all went according to plan. The latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter has noted that the company always intended to make their match short so that the quick loss for The Miz could be mentioned in future promos. As a result of the win, Bryan will be facing AJ Styles for the WWE Championship at Crown Jewel. Meanwhile, The Miz does not have a match announced for the event in Saudi Arabia next month as of now.
