With events on hold since March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, MLW has recently been airing content from their Underground series that was part of the promotion’s original run from 2003-2004. MLW will return with TV tapings taking place at “an undisclosed East Coast venue” this October. The tapings will begin airing in early November.
Bauer told Sports Illustrated that whether the promotion’s weekly TV series will be called MLW Fusion or MLW Underground when it returns hasn’t been decided: “We’ve had a lot of fans let us know they prefer Underground. That’s something we’re going to pin down in the weeks ahead.”
