Latest On WWE's Plans For WrestleMania XXVII, Lilian Garcia Sings At NFL Game

— Former WWE ring announcer Lilian Garcia sang the national anthem prior to this afternoon’s New York Jets vs. Buffalo Bills game at New Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

She wrote on Twitter, “On the side lines watching the #jets warm up! Gearing up to sing anthem in less then 30 mins! Butterflies are forming but SO pumped for it!!”

Garcia later added that the experience was a blast. Photos of her appearance are available here.

— Two weeks ago, WWE officials had a tentative match line-up for WrestleMania XXVII, which included John Cena vs. The Miz for the WWE Championship and Randy Orton vs. CM Punk.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter speculates that given the nature of the Cena vs. Punk program and with the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber coming up, it will be difficult for WWE to hold a pay-per-view singles match between the two before WrestleMania XXVII.
