The former Red Devils defender has been left stunned by recent events at Old Trafford, with players in the modern era boasting too much power
Paul Pogba’s reluctance to commit to Manchester United amid talk of interest from Barcelona is making the Red Devils look amateur, says Paul Parker.
The World Cup-winning midfielder has seen his future at Old Trafford called into question for some time.
Reports of a breakdown in his working relationship with Jose Mourinho have fuelled the exit talk, with the 25-year-old midfielder hinting that an imminent move elsewhere could be on the cards.

Pogba told reporters when quizzed on the latest links to Barca: “I’m playing at United at the moment, but who knows what will happen in the next few months.”
Former United defender Parker has been left stunned by a PR disaster for the Red Devils, with players now boasting too much power and able to make a mockery of the long-term contracts they sign.
“What’s coming out of Manchester United PR-wise is something you expect from a club five or six levels below – it’s not top-level PR,” Parker told talkSPORT.
“Sometimes you can’t give the devil what he wants and if that’s what he’s looking for, if he’s trying to dictate and control, you don’t give it.
“Footballers in today’s game are commodities and a group of them together speak louder than any one manager.
“It wouldn’t have happened 20 years ago, because players were there just to play football and we knew where we stood.
“If we shouted too loud, we were lucky if we were only shouted down, but at the worst we’d lose our jobs.
“But today, players don’t lose their jobs.”
Pogba has remained an ever-present starter for United in the 2018-19 campaign despite the uncertainty surrounding his future.
Mourinho has claimed to have no issue with the Frenchman, with the Portuguese hitting out at unhelpful “lies”, but transfer talk refuses to go away and appears set to rumble on into the January window.
