Indian Army handed over the soldier who was accused of killing police inspector Subodh Kumar in Bulandshahr violence to police for further investigation. Jeetender Malik aka Jeetu Fauji was handed over by the unit of Rashtriya Rifles to the UP police to investigate the violence which took place over the illegal cow slaughter.
Earlier the police had reached to the army and sought custody of the soldier who had left his hometown soon after the killing of the inspector in the violence.
