FORT LAUDERDALE, FL — Two men remain in a Broward County Jail while police look for two others in connection with the shooting death of rapper XXXTentacion. The artist was killed June 18 in a brazen daytime shooting in South Florida outside Riva Motorsports. Fans gathered outside the business to pay their respects in the days following the shooting.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding 20-year-old Trayvon Newsome and 22-year-old Robert Allen, who were among four men indicted by a Broward County jury on Wednesday. The other two men were already in custody.
Twenty-two-year-old Michael Boatwright was charged with first-degree murder earlier this month while in a Broward County jail on unrelated drug charges. Dedrick Devonshay Williams of Pompano Beach, Florida was arrested little more than 48 hours after the slaying of the artist, whose real name was Jahseh Onfroy.

“Investigators say Boatwright and Newsome were the two armed suspects who confronted Jahseh Onfroy,” according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
The artist had apparently been shopping for a motorcycle at the business when he was ambushed in an apparent robbery. He was about to leave in his car when he was attacked.
Williams was arrested during a traffic stop in Pompano Beach. He was charged with unpremeditated first-degree murder and grand theft of a motor vehicle. Police said he was driving without a valid license and had an outstanding warrant. He was also serving a probation at the time of the incident.
XXXTentacion lived in the 6500 block of NW 62nd Terrace in nearby Parkland.
Attorney David Bogenschutz told the Associated Press that the rapper had visited a bank shortly before the shooting and possibly withdrew cash for the purchase.
In the days following the shooting a steady stream of fans placed candles, flowers and teddy bears on the sidewalk near where the rapper was killed. They decorated a football field length of sidewalk with chalk art that included messages of sympathy and loss such as “Feel for you XXX” and “4evr Young.”
