Jungle Boy Talks Luke Perry, LU Star Joins SSS16, Page Re-Signs

It was reported earlier in the week that actor Luke Perry had passed away at the age of 52. Perry was a huge fan of pro wrestling and met several wrestlers before his death, nearly all of whom had positive words to say about the actor this week. Perry’s son, Jack Perry, competes on the independent circuit as Jungle Boy and was signed by All Elite Wrestling a couple of months ago. After staying quiet on the subject, Jungle Boy posted a message on Instagram today addressing his father’s passing. Jungle Boy said that he credits his dad for his success and he misses his father very much. He hopes that he will be able to make him proud and continue to expand upon the legacy that his father has left behind.

He was a lot of things to a lot of people. To me, he was always Dad. He loved supported me in everything, and inspired me to be the best that I could possibly be. I’ve learned so much from you, and my heart is broken thinking about everything you won’t be here for. I’ll miss you every day that I walk this earth. I’ll do whatever I can to carry on your legacy and make you proud. I love you Dad.

More news and updates concerning Impact Wrestling’s roster continues to break every day. Earlier today, it was confirmed that Ethan Page has signed a new deal with the promotion. During an interview with SLAM Sports, Page mentioned that he signed a new contract with Impact which will last for two years. Page says that the deal became active at the start of the year. It was previously reported that Impact has already re-signed most of the members of its roster and are rolling out the official announcements individually at the moment. It is possible that Page also signed his new deal months ago but is only confirming the matter now. Regardless, Page will not be leaving Impact Wrestling any time soon now.
