Brock Lesnar’s status with WWE has been up in the air for over a year now. “The Beast Incarnate” was believed to have signed a new deal with the company after WrestleMania 34 last year, but there are still reports out there stating that Lesnar may be getting ready to return to the octagon for another MMA fight. Through meetings with UFC President Dana White and appearances at UFC events, it certainly seems like a return to fighting is on the way for Lesnar. One fight that has constantly been teased for a future UFC event is a bout between Brock Lesnar and current UFC Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier. It seems like Cormier is attempting to get some hype going for the potential fight once again.
While speaking with fans on Twitter this week, Cormier discussed why he won’t be fighting Stipe Miocic again. During his rant, he posted a message wherein he referenced Brock Lesnar. While Brock Lesnar’s future in WWE is not known for sure, what is known is that he will be defending the Universal Championship against Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 35 this April. There have been reports claiming that Lesnar is actually allowed to accept UFC fights as part of his current deal with WWE, but that has yet to be confirmed as of now. As far as the rumored Lesnar vs. Cormier fight, it has been reported in the past that it could take place during the International Fight Week this year, so expect to hear more about Lesnar’s UFC return very soon.
Do you guys wanna know why I’m not fighting @stipemiocic again?

Reason 1: he’s being entitled, why have I fought since and he hasn’t. He lost the fight is he still the champ? Reason 2: I’m hurt Reason3: how do I do it better? I beat him in a round last time ? https://t.co/sQF4Wu5q6P

Despite all the controversy that has been thrown WWE’s way over their partnership with the country, the company is still aligned with the nation of Saudi Arabia. WWE announced the 10-year partnership with Saudi Arabia last year, and they have since hosted the Greatest Royal Rumble and Crown Jewel events in the nation. According to a new report from Fightful, WWE will be coming back to Saudi Arabia for another show within the next few months. WWE will reportedly be returning to the country for their next event on May 3rd. 2019 will mark one year of the deal between Saudi Arabian officials and WWE, but the company will likely be receiving more negative attention and backlash from fans upon returning to Saudi Arabia.
