Former WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes has been changing the game along with the rest of The Elite over the past few years. Cody achieved great success with his All In show earlier this year, and with Rhodes set to become a free agent by the end of the year, he is as popular as he has ever been. Unfortunately, it appears that Cody may have to take some time offf from the ring due to a recent injury. Rhodes alerted fans on Twitter earlier that he heard his knee pop during a match at last night’s Global Wars event for Ring of Honor. He provided an update later in the day stating that he will no longer be competing at the next ROH event tomorrow due to the injury and he will have an MRI later this week. Cody will still be appearing for a meet and greet at the event, and he has promised that a suitable replacement will take his spot tomorrow.

Not only is Ronda Rousey currently the Raw Women’s Champion and a UFC Hall of Famer, but she also has some experience in film acting. Rousey has appeared in a few movies over the years, including the Mile 22 movie that came out just a few months back. The forrmer MMA fighter is set to take on another Hollywood project very soon. According to a report from Deadline, Ronda Rousey will be serving as an executive producer for a brand new television series. Strong Girl is a new show that will be coming to the CW Network. It is based on a Korean drama featuring a young girl with extraordinary powers who is eventually hired as a bodyguard. As of right now, there is no word on a premiere date for the new show.
Drew McIntyre was brought back to WWE last year to work for the NXT brand. McIntyre eventually became an NXT Champion before he was promoted to the main roster earlier this year. Given McIntyre’s ascension ever since he returned to WWE, it is safe to say that his advice for other NXT Superstars is valuable. He talked about NXT during an interview with Planeta Wrestling, and he discussed the whole roster’s goal to have even more fans start attending the shows. McIntyre also put over some of the current members of the developmental system down in Orlando, Florida. As far as ha favorite NXT wrestlers today are concerned, Drew said that he sees potential in both Ricochet and The Velveteen Dream once they arrive on WWE’s main shows.
