Sin Cara has had a bit of a resurgence on WWE television lately due to his ongoing feud against new Smackdown member Andrade “Cien” Almas. The two have a long history together, but that did not stop Almas from visciously assaulting the masked superstar on Smackdown last week. Although a match between the two of them had been scheduled to take place on tonight’s episode of Smackdown, WWE had just informed fans that the match has been cancelled. The company claims that Cara suffered a shoulder injury during the attack from “El Idolo” last week and has not been cleared by WWE’s medical team to compete. The match has now been postponed indefinitely.

It has certainly been a while since fans have seen Jerry “The King” Lawler in the ring on WWE programming. Lawler did resurrect his “King’s Court” talk show for a segment with Dolph Ziggler last year,, and he has also made a few guest appearances on commentary over the past few months, but it appears that the WWE Hall of Famer will be returbing to television very soon. In fact, WWE has just annnounced that Lawler will be appearing on tonight’s episode of Smackdown from Memphis, Tennessee. Lawler will be hosting an interview with WWE Champion AJ Styles to get his final thoughts before he faces Shinsuke Nakamura in a Last Man Standing match at Money in the Bank on Sunday

Mike Kanellis did not fare too well in the 50-man Royal Rumble match earlier this year, but fortunately for him, he did not break the record for the shortest amount of time spent in a Royal Rumble match. However, he did just recently accomplish a huge goal that he should be much more porous of. Kanellis revealed on Twitter that he is eleven months sober as of today. The Raw Superstar admitted that he had an addiction to prescription drugs last year. Given that he has now kicked his drug habit, signed a contract with WWE, competed at WrestleMania, and has become a father, it is truly no wonder why Kanellis describes the past eleven months as being the best in his life.
11 Months Sober. This has easily been the best 11 months of my life ????
