INDIANAPOLIS — The brackets for the 2014 NCAA Division II wrestling national championships have been released. Four Southwest Minnesota State University wrestlers qualified for the tournament by placing in the top five at the NCAA Central Super Regional hosted by the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Okla., Feb. 28-March 1.
160 wrestlers qualified for the tournament — five per weight class from the Central and Midwest Super Regionals, and three per weight from the East and West Regionals.
The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference will send 19 wrestlers to the tournament led by six St. Cloud State Huskies and five Upper Iowa Peacocks. Justin Reinsma (133), Kyle Begin (165), Jacob Begin (174) and Cole Wilson (285) are the four Mustang wrestlers that qualified for the tournament.
