WrestleMania may have just wrapped up, but WWE is wasting no time promoting their next big event. Later this month, WWE Superstars will be traveling to Saudi Arabia to compete at the Greatest Royal Rumble show. A ton of attractions have already been announced for the show, including a match between John Cena and Triple H, and a WrestleMania rematch between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns with the Universal Championship on the line in a steel cage match. In addition all of those matches, as well as the several other title matches taking place during the show, the event will also feature the first 50-man Royal Rumble match ever produced by WWE.
WWE had announced a couple of participants for the match already, including Daniel Bryan, The Big Show, Bray Wyatt, Kane, and Braun Strowman, but the company just recently revealed that several other WWE Superstars will be taking part in the Royal Rumble match, including some returning WWE Superstars. Including the recently announced participants, a total of 20 men have been confirmed for the match. WWE just announced that the following names will be involved in the 50-man Royal Rumble match:
– Chris Jericho
– Kurt Angle
– Baron Corbin
– Sin Cara
– Big E
– Kofi Kingston
– Xavier Woods
– Apollo
– Shelton Benjamin
– Chad Gable
– Goldust
– Elias
– Titus O’Neil
– Mojo Rawley
– Dolph Ziggler
Every so often, WWE will send out surveys to fans who are subscribed to the WWE Network, and a few interesting questions often pop up during those surveys. Some past surveys have asked fans whether or not they would be interested in the network having a tiered system with some premium content added depending on which tier customers choose to purchase. WWE executives George Barrios & Michelle Wilson discussed the matter during a conference call before WrestleMania 34, and they confirmed that these options are actively being discussed at the moment. As of right now, fans can still subscribe to the WWE Network for the familiar monthly price of $9.99.
Barrios says “we think there’s an opportunity to tier the product [WWE Network]… so that’s coming… we don’t have a launch date yet… stay tuned… it’s coming sooner rather than later.”
