WWE Announces New Signings, Aries on WWE’s Pay, James Honored

WWE recently held a round of tryouts at the WWE Performance Center, and it appears that they are on quite the signing spree at the moment, because the company has announced that two names that have been training with them for a while are now officially part of WWE. Former Mae Young Classic competitor Kavita Devi has been signed, she is the company’s first female Indian-born wrestler. Another name that has been signed is Shadia Bseiso, who has become the first female Middle Eastern talent to sign with the company full time. “It is an honor to be the first-ever woman from the Middle East to sign with WWE, I have personally witnessed the power of WWE and the passion of WWE fans.” she said. WWE and ESPN confirmed both of these signings earlier today.
Austin Aries was shockingly released from WWE earlier this year, supposedly over his attitude backstage and because he did not like how he was being used in the cruiserweight division. Austin Aries recently announced some of the matches that he will be competing in as he returns to the independent circuit. Perhaps surprisingly, Aries claimed on Twitter that he will be earning more income from his upcoming six weeks of shows on the independent scene than he already earned in his final four months in WWE. Austin Aries’ mandatory 90-day no-compete clause expired on October 5th, which means that he is now free to compete anywhere he chooses.

Upcoming 6 weeks of “bingo hall” $ >> Last 4 months of “big league” $. Awesome to see the #prowrestling scene thriving around the ??.

Mickie James has had a rather remarkable year so far. First, she returned to WWE full time after spending several years away. She went on to have some fine matches, and now she has a shot at the Raw Women’s Championship against Alexa Bliss at the upcoming TLC pay-per-view. Mickie James recently just received another great honor. James revealed on social media that she was inducted into the Native American Music Awards Hall of Fame last night. That’s not all though, because James also won the award for Song of the Year for her song “Shooting Blanks.” As mentioned, James has a chance to defeat Alexa Bliss for the title at the TLC pay-per-view on October 22nd.
