— Kofi Kingston recently revealed during the New Day “Feel the Power” podcast that he has just signed a new five-year WWE contract, which would mean he’s with WWE until 2024. This would align with WWE’s strategy of locking up who they view as top stars for multi-year contracts which usually mean five-year agreements worth significantly more money than in the past.

— In a followup to a previous news items about Sin Cara appearing for AAA and using his WWE-trademarked name, it has since been restated that he is working through a 90-day non-compete clause and according to the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE officials are monitoring the situation with Sin Cara and AAA closely. WWE ended up releasing him from contract as they didn’t feel like he would be a wrestler that would make a meaningful impact with AEW.
