Backstage News on When Brock Lesnar Might be Fighting in UFC

— With his intentions of fighting Daniel Cormier made clear over the weekend, Brock Lesnar has either already entered the USADA testing pool or will be doing so in the very near future in order to clear out the remaining six months of his pending suspension.

— According to Dave Meltzer at f4wonline.com, Lesnar was not in the drug testing pool as of “earlier this week” but very well may have done so right on the 30th, putting him on track to fight by November 30 at the earliest. Meltzer adds that it is extremely unlikely Brock will be able to fight on the 25th Anniversary UFC show on November 25th because he had people checking on Lesnar’s status and he wasn’t in the testing pool by May 25th (in order to make the November 25th date).

— Finally, reports suggest that the plan is very much for Brock to fight on the December 29th show according to people in UFC but separate rumors also say that UFC is planning on Brock at the November show, perhaps in another appearance. For what it’s worth, WWE was fully aware of Lesnar’s plans over the weekend and most likely his plans moving forward as well.
