— Former WCW and WWE wrestler Tom Zenk passed away earlier this month on December 9 in his hometown of Robbinsdale, MN. Zenk grew up and graduated with both Rick Rude and Curt Hennig and reportedly passed away at the local medical center, though any details regarding cause of death are unknown at htis point.
— Zenk was signed by WWE early in his career and teamed up with Rick Martel as the “Can Am Connection” but he left the promotion after a couple of years due to a financial dispute. That led to a falling out with the McMahons so he joined WCW as “The Z Man” where he enjoyed considerably more success with Brian Pillman, winning the WCW Tag Team titles.

Zenk, Thomas Erwin age 59, of Golden Valley, MN, passed away on Dec. 9, 2017 at the North Memorial Medical Center. Survived by parents, Robert J. and Lois Zenk; siblings, Robert Jr. (Beth), Kathryn Zenk James (Raymond) and James L. (Jo); 8 nieces and nephews, A celebration of Tom’s life will be held on Saturday 1/13/18 at 11:00 AM at St. Olaf Catholic Church, 215 S. 8th St., Mpls. Visitation one hour prior to Mass at church. Private family burial will take place at St. Nicholas Cemetery, in Carver, MN

— WWE has announced that Matt Hardy vs. Bray Wyatt will headline the upcoming ‘205 Live’ house shows for the inaugural three-tour date that will take place January 19-21. The inclusion of these main roster stars is most definitely to boost ticket sales and give the card some star power.
— Hideo Itami has wrapped up his time in NXT and had his farewell over the weekend. Itami will be making his 205 Live debut this Tuesday after Smackdown Live.
