WWE Superstar John Cena recently spoke with Men’s Health magazine about a number of topics, including his emerging acting career in Hollywood.
Cena has appeared in successful movie roles such as “Trainwreck” and “Sisters,” has become a regular as a co-host on NBC’s “Today” show, hosted his own FOX reality show “American Grit” and is scheduled to host this year’s ESPY Awards, however he still feels he has a long way to go before he reaches the level of crossover success that former WWE great Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson did.
“I’m not even close,” Cena said regarding comparisons to The Rock. “That’s a testament to Dwayne. … He’s truly re-defined what it means to be a multi-skilled entertainer on so many platforms. I would love to one day be grouped in a conversation with Dwayne Johnson, but that day is not today.”
