Linda McMahon Accused Of Deceitful Tactics, Spending To Hit $100 Million

– Linda McMahon’s Senatorial campaign was given a warning by Connecticut’s State Election Enforcement Commission as a result of of “deceitful tactics.” McMahon’s campaign sent out a mailer looked very much like it was sent by the state of Connecticut and has been deemed misleading. – The New York Times has an article up looking at Linda McMahon’s campaign spending, noting that she is on the verge of hitting $100 million of her own money on two campaign. The article states:

“Ms. McMahon may or may not get to influence job creation as a senator. But she has already made an impact on the Connecticut economy by dishing out close to $100 million for two Senate races over the past three years, far more than anyone has ever spent of their own money to win any federal seat. She has long since blown by the $72 million Ross Perot spent of his own money on presidential bids in 1992 and 1996.”
