On the road to WrestleMania 37, a street fight headlined last night’s episode of SmackDown.
Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Edge were both hoping to see Daniel Bryan beaten down so badly that he wouldn’t be able to make it to their title match at WrestleMania, but Bryan defeated Jey Uso in last night’s main event. Bryan pummeled Uso with steel chain shots at the end of the match and submitted him with the Yes Lock.
Edge was on commentary for Bryan and Uso’s street fight, while Reigns came out to the stage during the match and watched on. After the match, Bryan charged at Edge and sent him into the barricade with a running knee. Bryan then repeatedly smashed Edge’s head into the ring post.
Bryan then turned his attention to Reigns. Reigns went to throw his chair at Bryan, but Bryan avoided it. Bryan hit a running knee on Reigns and then put him in the Yes Lock.
