AXS TV has sent out a press release today officially confirming that Impact Wrestling will be moving to Tuesday nights at 8PM ET starting on October 29. The move was expected after Impact’s parent company Anthem recently acquired the network, as WWE Smackdown will be moving to Friday nights next week.
In the buildup to the debut, which comes just one week off the heels of this year’s Bound for Glory pay-per-view, AXS will be airing the entirety of this year’s pay-per-view catalog starting with Homecoming on 10/1, Rebellion on 10/8, and Slammiversary on 10/15.
As noted, there will be a two-hour special entitled “This is Impact!” that will air on 10/22 that will preview Impact Wrestling’s arrival and spotlight its various talents and feuds, as well as matches taped prior to Bound for Glory on 10/20.
