Earlier this month, WWE sent out a survey to select WWE Network subscribers asking for their input on potential new, original content that could be added to the streaming service in the future.
Among the options was a Fashion Police “unsolved mysteries” series, the NXT UK brand being broadcast for fans in the United States, something called the “House Hardy: Halloween Special” and more!
Well, Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet broke the news earlier this afternoon that at least one of those things is happening, as WWE currently has plans to record a pilot featuring the Hardy family in early October. At this point, a full series may still be a pipe dream, as a one-episode pilot is all the company has ordered so far, but we’re still very intrigued by the prospect of more content featuring the bizarre Hardy family.
Older brother, Woken Matt Hardy recently announced his retirement from WWE in-ring competition after nearly three decades dedicated to professional wrestling. Perhaps not a coincidence, the creator of the exceedingly strange Broken Universe sent out a Tweet this weekend asking Senior Benjamin to prepare the Dome of Deletion for… celebration?
In this case, when it comes to the Hardys, your guess is as good as ours.
