A UFC mega-fight in the making may come to fruition in the near future. According to Bleacher Report, Jon Jones has been handed a 15-month retroactive suspension which will be lifted on October 28th. This is big news considering Jon Jones future was in the air following drug testing failures in the recent past. Speculation will now begin to grow as to who his first opponent will be.

His first match back is unlikely to be against Brock Lesnar who is currently eyeing another big main event against champion Daniel Cormier. Despite his surprise appearance at Hell in a Cell, Lesnar is still expected to make his UFC return early next year. What happens in the match will likely have a significant impact on a potential Lesnar vs. Jones matchup.
