As noted, WWE star Sasha Banks did a SummerSlam live interview earlier today with Cathy Kelley, and during the interview Banks noted that 2018 will be the last year WWE SummerSlam takes place in New York, as the show will head to Los Angeles next year.

“Brooklyn has almost become my second home because of the Barclays Center,” said Banks, via Pro Wrestling Sheet. “It’s kinda sad that this is our last year … not like last last year, but before we go to LA with SummerSlam. So it’s like MEH.”
While Banks did not mention in what venue SummerSlam will take place, the most likely location is The Staples Center, which previously played host to “The Biggest Party of the Summer” from 2009-2014. Banks’ comments on SummerSlam heading to Los Angeles come in at around the 11-minute mark in the above video.
Also during the live interview, Banks reveals her dream match at WWE Evolution would be against WWE Hall of Famer Trish Status, and she adds that if the match cannot happen, then another match she would like to have would be her and Bayley teaming up to face Stratus and fellow WWE Hall of Famer Lita. Both Stratus and Lita have been confirmed for Evolution.
On her favorite SummerSlam matches, Banks reveals Shawn Michaels vs Razor Ramon would be her all-time favorite, and her second favorite SummerSlam match is her own, which took place in 2017 and saw Banks defeat Alexa Bliss for the Raw Women’s Title.
