TheWrap.com is exclusively reporting that WWE Smackdown Live will remain live once the show moves to the Fox network in 2019.
The status of the blue brand has been a great subject of discussion since news first broke that WWE had signed a deal with Fox in the neighborhood of $1.025 billion for the television rights to Smackdown Live. There has been all kinds of speculation on when the show will air and if WWE would have to go back to a pre-taped format to accommodate their touring schedule, but all reports indicate that Fox and its owners are all in on promoting the Smackdown brand as a major asset, and that apparently includes keeping the show live.
