It has taken two years for Taylor Swift to acknowledge her relationship with actor Joe Alwyn. And, for a girl who banks off of singing about her exes and current crushes, that’s a very long time to keep quiet.
On Thursday, the pop star gushed about her boyfriend’s new movie The Favourite in an Instagram post and story, which is a pretty bold move considering the hush-hush nature of their courtship.
“The Favourite is absolutely phenomenal, and it opens in NY and LA tomorrow — Swipe to see cities and dates! @thefavouritemovie @joe.alwyn @nicholashoult,” she wrote alongside the film’s trailer, tagging Alwyn in her caption.
Tay Tay seems to be returning the love she felt from the British star during her Reputation tour this summer, as he was spotted in the stands several times throughout the musical circuit.

In September, Taylor also supported Alwyn’s latest acting endeavor by attending The Favourite‘s New York City premiere with him, where Jennifer Lawrence crashed their date night.
That same month, Joe quickly raved about his GF’s recent push for political activism. “I think it’s great, I think it’s important,” he briefly said to a reporter at the UK premiere for his latest film, before rushing off the red carpet.
Slowly but surely, Taylor and Joe are bringing their romance to the public, and we’re totally here for it!
