The Brumbies are in the black for the second year in a row, announcing a $57,000 profit at their AGM this Thursday.
Their 2017 profit was the club’s first since 2010 and they have backed it up with a bigger margin in 2018, despite relatively small crowds.
Super Rugby games in Canberra attracted average crowds of just 8391 this year but still managed to finish the year financially ahead.
It’s a far cry from where the club was just two years ago, in the midst of a tumultuous season off the field under then CEO Michael Jones.
