Like father, like son, right?
Liev Schreiber surprised us all on the 2016 Emmys red carpet and brought along a date that’s definitely one for the history books: 9-year-old son Alexander “Sasha” Pete. Rather than walk hand-in-hand with gorgeous wife Naomi Watts, the Ray Donovan actor, nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, chose to turn the day into one epic father-son moment. Schreiber first took to Twitter to share an image of the happy pair lounging at what appears to be a Hollywood pool hours before hitting the red carpet.
And while we’re sure soaking up the sun was fun, it’s what happened after that we’re obsessed with. The proud father of two took to Instagram to first share a photograph of himself and Sasha buttoning up their shirts and bonding as they saw their black tie outfits come together.
Yes, Liev (who was outfitted in Tom Ford) and little Sasha look dapper enough in their white shirts, but the matching suit jackets made their looks come together.
Mom Watts also reposted her husband’s too-cute image.
And while the ‘grams are cute enough, Sasha’s seat as the show has us pining for more. Where did he watch IRL? Dad’s lap, obviously.
