In a first, the Navi Mumbai Police cracked an eight-year-old rape and murder case. All this was possible with the help of thefirst criminal DNA Bank.
The police took a man named Rehan Qureshi into custody after he was found guilty of raping and murdering two minor girls, ages five and seven. The girls were abducted, raped and murdered in Nehru Nagar locality of Kurla in Mumbai.
A report by India Today says that a press conference on this matter will be held at Navi Mumbai Commissionerate on Tuesday.
