For years, the idea of Dixie Carter working with WWE seemed impossible. Carter was the president of TNA Wrestling before the promotion was purchased by Anthem Sports & Entertainment years ago. Carter has taken to Twitter to inform her followers that she was just in Connecticut doing some filming work. WWE’s headquarters just so happens to be in Stamford, Connecticut. According to Cageside Seats, Dixie Carter was indeed in town to film some material for an upcoming WWE release, but there is no word yet on what Carter was there to work on. Carter previously made an appearance during WWE’s 24 special on Kurt Angle after he made his return to the company in 2017, but the former wrestling president hasn’t appeared on WWE programming ever since.

It was confirmed earlier this week that current X Division Champion Rich Swann has signed a multi-year contract to stay with Impact Wrestling for the foreseeable future. Swann said that he believes that Impact will continue to grow, and he said that it was the best option for him at this time. It has since been announced by Wrestling Inc. that Willie Mack has also just re-signed with Impact. Mack is now locked up for the next couple of years. This would seem to signify that Mack has been let go from his Lucha Underground contract, but that has yet to be officially confirmed. Mack said that he signed with Impact because he believes that they have the best talent on the planet, and he wants to win every championship that the promotion has.
WWE has been teasing a character makeover for Mojo Rawley on television for a number of weeks now. Rawley has been appearing in backstage segments which see him angrily talking to himself in a mirror. It appears that Rawley has just debuted his new personality during this week’s episode of Main Event. Rawley was wearing new gear, face paint, and had new entrance music as well. Rawley noticeably wrestled much more aggressively in his match against Heath Slater. It is unclear when Rawley is supposed to debut the character on Raw, but it shouldn’t take too much longer now that he has begun testing it out on Main Event. Be sure to check out Rawley’s new look in the tweets posted down below:
