It’s no secret that WWE is pushing as much talent in the women’s division as it can get right now, but some WWE fans are wondering out loud whether Nia Jax was rushed to the main roster too quickly as her history of dangerous work in the ring has jeopardized the health of another Superstar.
Reddit User GoodGuyRev1 lays out a compelling case about whether Jax is the most careless female on the WWE main roster. It’s obvious her imposing size and family ties helped to accelerate her move through the WWE pipeline. However, Jax has shown signs that a combination of a lack of developmental polish and devil-may-care attitude with the livelihoods of others have made her unsafe to work with in the ring the past two years.
GoodGuyRev1 points out that the incident during Monday Night RAW this week in Kansas City where Jax concussed and broke SmackDown Women’s Champ Becky Lynch’s face with a right-handed haymaker isn’t an isolated incident. Perhaps even worse for Jax, her tweet on Wednesday morning sounded like she could care less about hurting Lynch and costing the WWE a showcase match at Survivor Series. Here is the tweet again for those who didn’t see it:

Here’s a list of questionable incidents involving Jax taking care of other talent in the ring compiled by GoodGuyRev1.
Charlotte Flair landing a moonsault on her face outside the ring because Jax didn’t catch her in this video clip:
Charlotte having her head spiked directly into Nia’s knee during a botched shoulder breaker in this video clip:
A CBS Sports report on Bayley sustaining a shoulder injury that caused her to miss SummerSlam because Jax threw her awkwardly:

Again with Bayley, Nia goes to deliver an Elbow Drop to the head of Bayley while she is still sitting upright in this video clip:

Here’s a Reddit GIF with Jax landing on the wrong knee while trying to do a Back Breaker against Asuka:

Here’s a Sun article where both Zelina Vega and Tamina got hurt when Vega was thrown over the top rope. Vega sustained a concussion and Tamina got a busted nose:

Also, here’s a WrestlingInc article where it details a fan calling out Jax for injuring Alexa Bliss:

Interestingly enough, Jax responded that Bliss wasn’t even hurt:

Which elicited a tweet from the Goddess that was simply – ????
It’s not up to us to say whether Nia Jax is “what’s best for business” in the WWE. They certainly want to promote elite female talent right now during this “Women’s Evolution,” but if people keep getting hurt while working with her isn’t it fair to question whether enough is enough?
A lot of WWE fans are still ticked off that Becky Lynch will miss Survivor Series because she was absolutely killing it in her promotion of this match with Rousey, ascending to the most talked about star in the whole company right now. Given that Lynch has already had a history of head trauma in her career – she suffered a head injury in 2006 while working with a European promotion in a match in Germany that caused her to be diagnosed with possible damage to her eighth cranial nerve – it would have been a shame if something like this ended her career.
AllWrestling.Com wishes Becky a speedy recovery and wants your feedback on how you feel about Nia Jax’s history of unsafe work practices. Feel free to comment below.
