After her exclusion from July’s WWE Draft frustrated many fans, Bayley is finally coming up to the WWE main roster.
Bayley made her Raw debut on Monday night as the newest member of the brand’s women’s division. Raw General Manager Mick Foley called her the hottest free agent in the division and the two hugged in the ring. Bayley noted that she couldn’t believe this was happening and had been waiting for the moment her entire life.
Bayley challenged WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte to a match. Charlotte declined, instead offering Dana Brooke as a replacement. Foley made the match, which Bayley won with the Bayley-to-Belly suplex.
The match was Bayley’s second on the main roster after teaming with Sasha Banks to take on Charlotte and Brooke at Battleground. Following that match, Bayley briefly went back to NXT with a championship match against Asuka on the horizon. Bayley failed to regain the NXT Women’s Championship in that match at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn II, but she’ll now join Raw’s roster.
