Donald Trump has blamed the "Fake News Media" for misrepresenting the recent G7 meeting with an image of him appearing to disagree with other leaders.
The US president said media outlets had only shown "the bad photos", implying there was anger among the group which included Prime Minister Theresa May, French president Emmanuel Macron, German chancellor Angela Merkel and Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau.
One image, which showed Mr Trump sitting, arms crossed, as Mrs Merkel and other leaders stood around him, featured prominently in coverage of the meeting in Canada last week.
On Friday, Mr Trump tweeted a series of alternative images of the same meeting, which included Mrs May, Mrs Merkel and Mr Trudeau smiling.
He commented: "I have a great relationship with Angela Merkel of Germany, but the Fake News Media only shows the bad photos (implying anger) of negotiating an agreement – where I am asking for things that no other American President would ask for!"

The Quebec summit held on June 11 ended in chaos after Trump announced from Air Force One that the US had withdrawn its endorsement of a joint communiqué.
The President also launched a blistering attack on host, Justin Trudeau, the Canadian prime minister.
Mr Trump described Mr Trudeau as dishonest and weak as he accused Canada of trying to take advantage of US interests.

European leaders quickly condemned Trump for undermining the G7 meeting with ‘fits of anger’.
Heiko Maas, the German foreign minister, said: “In a matter of seconds, you can destroy trust with 280 Twitter characters.”
Angela Merkel, the German chancellor, added her condemnation, saying that Europe will implement counter-measures against US tariffs on steel and aluminium.
"The withdrawal, so to speak, via tweet is of course … sobering and a bit depressing," she told the German broadcaster ARD.
