Ronda Rousey Reportedly Begins Professional Wrestling Training

Ronda Rousey’s career in MMA has been a bit uncertain as of late. She does remain employed with UFC, but her time there has been in doubt due to a string of losses that she suffered during her last few fights there. Luckily, it appears as though Rousey may have found a perfect backup career at last. During the height of her career, Rousey was undefeated in MMA competition and she was one of the biggest stars in all of sports. As a lifelong wrestling fan, she made a memorable appearance at Wrestlemania 31 where she worked an angle with The Rock, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H. It appears that WWE and Rousey may be picking up where their relationship left off very soon.
Per Fightful, Ronda Rousey is said to be seriously considering officially making the jump into the world of professional wrestling. She and he fellow Horsewomen all showed up to support Shayna Baszler at the Mae Young Classic tournament tapings. That was a request to Triple H that was made by Rousey herself. The report mentions that she has decided to learn some of the basic training needed to be a WWE wrestler. Some in WWE apparently believe that Rousey is going to begin proper wrestling training very soon, and that she has already learned to take a few bumps. Could it be possible to see Ronda Rousey compete inside of a WWE ring someday?
As mentioned before, one member of the Rousey’s Four Horsewomen competed in the Mae Young Classic, while Marina Shafir is currently engaged to NXT star Roderick Strong, and Jessamyn Duke has also begun training to become a wrestler herself. Three down, one to go. The report mentions that Rousey and her friends have been instructed to visit WWE Cruiserweight star Brian Kendrick for further training over in California. Rousey did tease that she would be making an announcement on her website very soon, but it is unknown what exactly that announcement will be.
