Wade Barrett Discusses His Lose of Passion for the WWE
Wade Barrett recently sat down with Sports Illustrated, where he discussed his in-ring career, his future and how he learned to walk away from the WWE.
“I’ve had a lifelong passion, and really obsession, with professional wrestling since I was a very small kid,” said Bennett. “That passion never left me. I was always inspired to be involved and be part of good TV and do projects that would inspire me professionally. Unfortunately, in 2015 and again in 2016, I was asked to play a character and perform storylines that I found thoroughly uninspiring. After making repeated attempts to change my career trajectory and having those efforts turned down, my passion for playing the role of a WWE Superstar went away”

Update on Mick Foley
As has been previously reported on AllWrestling, Mick Foley is due to take time off from weekly WWE programming in order to undergo hip replacement surgery. It was expected that Foley would take time off for the remainder of the year, as he had requested he be taken off WWE television to spend Christmas with his family in order to prepare for surgery.
However, Foley ended up appearing at Roadblock and Monday’s Raw. It is now reported that WWE officials asked Foley to appear at Sunday’s PPV, as he was already in town doing charity work for Connor’s Cure. As for his appearance on last nights Raw, WWE needed Foley to appear as the main authority figure as Stephanie McMahon was unable to attend Raw.
