Overnight ratings for SmackDown on Fox saw a slight rise in viewership of 3.3 percent as the show averaged 1.956 million viewers on Friday night.
For the second week in a row, the audience grew as SmackDown went on. Hour one averaged 1.924 million viewers, then the show rose three percent in the second hour to 1.988 million.
There was a drop in the 18-34 demo from last week, however, as the rating fell to a 0.2, down 33.3 percent. That number did tie several other shows for the top mark on network TV.
In the 18-49 demo, SmackDown did the same 0.5 number that it’s done four of the last five weeks. That was good for first place on its own among the networks.
SmackDown finished last on the networks in total viewers, as it usually does, but the second hour of the show actually beat the second hour of ABC’s 20/20, although the latter show averaged two million viewers over the two hours.
