Following a controversial finish between Michael Elgin and Eddie Edwards on tonight’s episode of IMPACT on AXS, world champion Tessa Blanchard came to the ring and challenged both men to a triple threat title match at the April 19th Rebellion pay per view in New York City.
Edwards and Elgin were all tied up in a best-of-five series, but neither man could claim victory after a brutal hard hitting contest. One ringside official claimed that Elgin’s shoulders were pinned to the mat, while another saw Edwards submit to the crossface. VP Scott D’Amore came to the ring to try and determine a winner, but Blanchard entered the arena before a decision could be made. It was there that she issued the challenge to both men, and held her title high as the show ended. Check it out below.
