Tonight’s episode of NXT takes place from Full Sail University in Winter Park Florida.
Footage of Jordan Myles winning the NXT Breakout tournament, and his face-off with Adam Cole, where he challenged the Undisputed Era leader to an NXT championship matchup, which will serve as tonight’s main event.

Mauro Ranallo, Nigel McGuinness, and Beth Phoenix welcome us to another edition of NXT television. Breezango is out first to a huge ovation. They’re dressed in their Fashion Police outfits, and have been given a brand new theme song. They’ll be facing Chase Parker and Matt Martel.
Breezango versus Matt Martlel & Chase Parker
Fandango and Martel begin. Tie-up. Martel traps Fandango in the corner and lands a kick. Parker tags in. Arm ringer…he bounces off the ropes and goes for a sunset flip…Fandango plays like he’s going to go down, but dances over Parker before dropping a leg. Breeze in now. Snap-suplex for a nearfall. Breeze connects with a flying forearm in the corner. He poses in the corner, which angers Parker. Martel tags in and walks right into a dropkick and arm-drag from Breeze. Martel baits Breeze into his team’s corner where Parker hits Breeze with a knee. Breeze creates separation and lands an enziguri. He makes the hot tag to Fandango, who levels Parker with lariats and chops. He catches Parker and Martel with snap-powerslam. Falcon Arrow. Backbreaker/slingshot elbow combo pick up the win for Breezango.

Earlier in the day…Jordan Myles is shown walking into Full Sail talking with Keith Lee. He’s asked how he feels about his upcoming title match. Myles admits to being a little nervous, but is ready to prove why he belongs in NXT. Lee jumps in and says that Myles has already proven alot by earning a title opportunity so early in his NXT stint.
Commentary tells us that the NXT North American champion Velveteen Dream will be in action against Kona Reeves next. Outside Io Shirai attacks Candice LeRae with a kendo stick. Several referees and security officials pull Shirai away.

Cameron Grimes cuts a promo. He’s frustrated for blowing his opportunity in the Breakout Tournament, but is prepared to work his way up from the bottom to become the champion.
Velveteen Dream makes his way to the ring for our next contest. Kona Reeves is out second.
Velveteen Dream versus Kona Reeves
Tie-up. Dream applies a headlock. Reeves makes it to the ropes to break the hold. He picks Dream’s leg and forces him to the corner…Dream counters by kicking Reeves in the gut. Pace picks up…both men with a leapfrog…dropkick from Dream. Reeves fires right back with a pump kick. Another one rocks Dream. Reeves hits a big right hand that sends Dream to the apron. Running boot. Reeves talks a little trash..this gives Dream the opportunity to get back into the match. Right hands and a top rope axe handle. Reeves rolls up Dream and uses the ropes as leverage…ref sees it and they argue…superkick by dream. A second. DVD. It’s over.
Velveteen Dream wins by pinfall
Dream celebrates his victory but is interrupted by a Roderick Strong promo on the titantron. Strong screams that he’s ready for a one on one opportunity with Dream for the title. It’s revealed that Strong has set Dream’s couch on fire. “Do I have your attention now?”
Flashback to last week, when NXT UK star Rhea Ripley showed up to confront NXT women’s champion Shayna Baszler, stating that she may have beaten everyone else, but not her. Commentary tells us that the match will be taking place on next week’s show.
Taynara Conti is out next or women’s division action. Her opponent…Bianca Belair.
Taynara Conti versus Bianca Belair
Tie-up. Belair shoves Conti into the corner….ref separates them and they reset. Second tie-up. Belair is the one who gets trapped this time…Conti with a monkey-flip for a one count. Armbar attempt…Belair shows off her strength by dead-lifting Conti up but Conti turns it into a roll-up…two count. Belair shoulder blocks Conti to the mat. Belair with some impressive athleticism…Conti drop toe holds her into the turnbuckles. She drags Belair’s face across the bottom rope. Judo-toss from Conti. Belair blocks a thrust kick…school-boy pin for two. Conti answers with a stiff head kick. She mounts Belair and unloads strikes. Conti nails Belair with running double-knees, then traps Belair in the ropes to apply an armbar. Belair falls to the outside. Conti to the apron…she dives…Belair catches her and hits a fallaway slam onto the outside. Both women down on the outside. Ref begins his count. He’s up to nine…they just beat it.
Back in the ring…Belair lands a facebuster on Conti. Handspring moonsault and kip up. Belair is pumped up. Suplex attempt…Conti falls to her feet but Belair forearms her. K.O.D. That’ll do it.

Backstage Adam Cole is preparing for his title defense. He has a smile on his face.

Commentary tells us that Johnny Gargano, who hasn’t been seen since Takeover Toronto II, will be back next week to address his NXT future.
General Manager William Regal says that there will be a women’s triple-threat match in two weeks to determine a new number one contender for Shayna Baszler. Competitors are Mia Yim, Bianca Belair, and Io Shirai.
Main event time. Jordan Myles is out first. Adam Cole is out next. The rest of the Undisputed Era is nowhere to be seen…for now. Introduction are done. Here we go.
Jordan Myles versus Adam Cole for the NXT Championship
Tie-up. Cole forces Myles to the corner. They exchange some words. Headlock by the champ. Myles bounces him off the ropes but Cole retakes control with another headlock. Myles finally breaks free…hip-toss by Myles right into a wristlock. He splashes his body off Cole’s arm and continues to cause damage. Cole shoes him in the corner and lands a kick to the gut. Myles fires back with a dropkick that sends Cole to ringside. Myles to the apron. He goes for a PK…Cole ducks and rips Myles leg out…he hits the apron hard. Cole picks Myles up and smashes him off the ringpost. Back in the ring…Cole stomps Myles down, then sends him into the turnbuckles with a hard Irish-whip. Myles connects with a few punches to Cole’s gut but Cole throws him head first into the ropes. Ground and pound and headscissor by Cole. Split chants from the crowd.
Cole shouts that Myles doesn’t even deserve to be in the ring with him. He begs for Myles to give him his best. This leads to a back and forth striking exchange that Myles wins. He starts picking up steam. Leg sweep and basement dropkick in succession. Cole rolls to the outside to recover…Myles with a springboard crossbody. Back inside…Myles hits a top rope crossbody for a nearfall. Enziguri from Cole misses…Myles deadlifts Cole with a German suplex with pin…only two. Cole plays possum on the outside and yakuza kicks Myles in the face. Firemans carry that Myles escapes from…Cole lands the enziguri this time, then quickly follows up with a lungblower. Cover…Myles stays alive. Cole goes for the Panama Sunrise…Myles has it scouted…he goes to the middle rope but Cole superkicks his leg. Figure-four locked in by Cole…Myles is in trouble….eventually he makes it to the ropes.
Cole goes for a superplex…Myles knocks him off and goes for a top rope attack but Cole yakuza kicks him out of the air. Yushi-giroshi for two. Myles to the apron with Cole on the outside…PK! Suicide dive connects! Back inside…Myles lands a frog-splash. Somehow Cole kicks out. Myles climbs to the top again…450 misses…Cole charges…superkick from Myles. He climbs again…this time Cole gets the knees up on the 450. This is awesome chants from the crowd. Cole lowers his kneepad for the Last Shot…Myles ducks…he comes off the ropes…superkick by Cole. A superkick to the back of the head…Last Shot. Cole retains.
