As noted, CM Punk reportedly returned under a mask at the MKE Wrestling event at the Knights of Columbus building in West Allis, Wisconsin.
For those who missed it, Punk reportedly showed up under a mask wearing the same sweater that he had worn at a recent appearance (Side-By-Side Comparison Photos Here) and hit a GTS on one of the wrestlers working a match, before running off to the back (Video Here).
In an update, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com is reporting that it was indeed Punk under the mask at the show on Saturday night.
According to the report, Punk wanted to do something in the building as it was the last show being held at the venue. Punk apparently worked the venue often early into his pro wrestling career.
Meltzer notes that Punk’s appearance is not a sign that he wants to get back into pro wrestling, but if he were to do something, All Elite Wrestling (AEW) would obviously be all over him and WWE would not be a very likely option.
