For the first time since January, the MLW World Tag Team Titles will be defended.
On next week’s Fusion, Marshall and Ross Von Erich will look to pick up their second title defense when they face MLW World Champion Jacob Fatu and Simon Gotch, both of CONTRA Unit.
In a promo, the Von Erichs said they have beaten CONTRA three times before in MLW and took direct offense when CONTRA decided to call out all the champions. This will be their first action since an eight man tag that aired on February 1st when Killer Kross was still with the company.
In other action:
In the first Opera Cup semifinal match, Low Ki will face Carribean Champion Richard Holliday. Ki advanced on Wednesday’s show with a win over Davey Boy Smith Jr.
Longtime indie tag team Violence Is Forever (Kevin Ku and Dominic Garrini) will make their MLW debut as a unit. Team Filthy leader Tom Lawlor announced on Wednesday’s Fusion that Ku is now part of his team.
Calvin Tankman will be back in action following his quick promotional debut win two weeks ago.
