Raw intro starts.

Raw starts with Michael Cole in the ring. He introduces his guest John Cena.

Cena comes out and makes his way into the ring.

Cole says let’s get to the point. Show knocked him out not once but twice in a 24 hour period. But that pales in comparison to what happened last week. Brodus Clay, Kofi Kingston, R-Truth, Santino Marella, Santino Marella, Zack Ryder, Alex Riley, all casualties of the latest path of destruction by Big Show. This could have all been prevented if he had done the right thing, if he had come out and supported his friend Big Show, but instead he wanted to come out and make jokes and laugh and make fun of Mr. Laurinaitis. It was more important for him to be a comedian than support Show as a friend. He must be awfully proud of himself.

Is he proud of himself? Does Cole still have his collection of My Little Ponies, of course he does. Which means yes, he is proud of himself. He’ll tell him what he’s told all of them from day one: John Laurinaitis is a power hungry bully. John Laurinaitis humiliates and embarrasses The Big Show. A man he used to call a friend, says he didn’t do his part in defending him? Maybe not immediately, but he was going to get Laurinaitis outta here so we’d get a new GM in here and Show gets his job back. What kind of idiot wouldn’t hire the world’s largest athlete?

Cole says that’s easy and arrogant of him to say. He didn’t know that! Big Show didn’t know that! Nobody knew if Mr. Laurinaitis or the new General Manager was going to hire Big Show back. It wasn’t written in stone. His problem is that he’s so self centered and wrapped up in his own ego that he forgot all about this. Contrary to what the people think, it’s not all about him. Show did what he had to do to feed his family. He took the sure thing, and the sure thing was signing with Mr. Laurinaitis. Show all decided it was time to teach each and every one of them a lesson. Show is no longer a businessman. He’s a seven foot giant whom nobody can defeat. He proved it on Smackdown, and he’s going to prove it in two weeks at No Way Out when he faces him in a steel cage match.

Cena says Big Show is a man who finally decided he wants a wallet the size of his waistline. That’s it! Big Show got fired. Had some tough times. We all have tough times, and when you have tough times you make a choice. Show chose the easy way out. He bet on the sure thing. That’s his decision and he needs to stick by it. He doesn’t have the audacity to come out and say he and the fans turned their backs on Show. Big Show turned his back on him and the fans. That is fact!

Cole says that’s interesting. Maybe he’s jealous of Big Show. Maybe he’s jealous because Show won his match at WrestleMania. Maybe he’s jealous because Show wasn’t a punching bag for Brock Lesnar for twenty minutes at Extreme Rules. Know what? Forget it. He’s been an advocate of his his entire time in WWE, but he’s seeing things differently lately. Know what he’s seeing different? He doesn’t think he’s interesting anymore. In fact he’s overrated. That being said, he hopes Show finally puts him out of his, and the rest of the fans, misery. And before he gets carried away, he reminds him that he cannot strike an announcer. It’s strictly prohibited.

John Laurinaitis comes out and rolls up to the top of the ramp.

Laurinaitis tells Cena that he let Show pick his opponent last week. In the spirit of fairness and “People Power” he’s going to let John do the same. Before he can answer, he wants him to know that Show is not here tonight. In his new contract he has selective days off, and tonight is one of them. He should also know that after beating him at Over The Limit, he has retired from one on one singles competition and cannot be picked. Other than that, anyone else is game.

Cena clarifies. No Big Show, and he’s too scared to get in the ring. No problem. He can pick anybody? Holy smokes! This is the first good thing he’s done since…no actually this is the first good thing he’s done. Tonight, he’s going to face an opponent he’s watched for years. He’s scouted this individual easily, and the reports say that he’s uninteresting and overrated. If you ask good ol’ JR, he’s being shoved down our throats every week. Greenville, tonight’s going to be extra special because his opponent is Michael Cole!

Cena leaves the ring laughing, but Cole stops him and says he can’t do that. Tell him, Johnny!

Johnny shrugs and rolls backstage. Cole freaks out and shouts that he can’t do that. Cena leaves the ring.

Tonight, CM Punk faces Kane in a rematch from last week where “There must be a winner”. Also, in another rematch, Sheamus takes on Dolph Ziggler.

Laurinaitis says there’s a rumor going around that everybody’s job is going to be evaluated. He’s all about People Power and giving the people what they want.

Cole says he knows what the people want, and they don’t want Cena beating him up, he can guarantee that.

Laurinaitis says they do. He tells him to go back to his announce position, do his job, and get ready for his match. By the way, don’t call him Johnny.

Laurinaitis rolls away from Cole.
