Gallus’ reign as NXT UK Tag Team Champions has come to an end.
In the main event of this week’s NXT UK episode, Pretty Deadly (Sam Stoker & Lewis Howley) defeated Gallus (Mark Coffey & Wolfgang) to win the NXT UK Tag Team titles. Coffey & Wolfgang had been champions since winning the titles from Mark Andrews & Flash Morgan Webster in October 2019.
Pretty Deadly used a DDT onto a title belt and then their Spilt Milk double-team neckbreaker finisher to get the win. Wolfgang had been sent over the barricade leading into the finish. Joe Coffey wasn’t with his Gallus stablemates on today’s NXT UK episode, with it being said that he suffered a hand injury against Rampage Brown last week.
Pretty Deadly got the NXT UK Tag Team title shot by defeating Andrews & Webster, Oliver Carter & Ashton Smith, and The Hunt (Wild Boar & Primate) in a fatal four-way elimination match on NXT UK last month.
Pretty Deadly are the fourth Tag Team Champions in NXT UK history. The Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson & James Drake), Andrews & Webster, and Gallus previously held the titles.
