Friday night’s Fastlane fallout edition of SmackDown averaged 2.191 million viewers on Fox, up 4.7 percent from the previous week.
As usual, it wasn’t enough to lift Fox out of last place in viewership among the major networks. No other major network averaged less than three million viewers on the night.
SmackDown did finish second on the networks, and all of television, with a 0.57 rating in the 18-49 demo, the same number it did the previous week. In the 18-34 category, SmackDown drew a 0.39 rating, up 14.7 percent from the previous week. The difference in the younger viewers being up was probably due to the fact that there were no NCAA tournament games this week going against SmackDown.
SmackDown topped all of television in the 18-34 demo, with Shark Tank on ABC finishing second with a 0.32 rating.
As compared to the same week last year, SmackDown was down just 7.4 percent in overall viewership. The show was down 18.6 percent in the 18-49 demo and down only 2.5 percent in 18-34.
