WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett made his return to the company last night in Phoenix, appearing as the second entrant in the 30-Man Royal Rumble match.
According to PWInsider.com, Double-J has signed a new contract with WWE and will be rejoining the company as a backstage producer. To celebrate, the former world champion returned to Monday Night Raw and sang a duet with Road Dogg (yes, seriously) before being mercilessly beaten by Elias.
it’s been an interesting past few days for WWE on the production side. As reported, both Sonjay Dutt and Abyss (aka Joseph Park) have left Impact Wrestling to work with WWE backstage, and Sonjay was actually working at tonight’s Raw taping. Shane Helms is also back with the company in a similar role.
