Tuesday night’s episode of NXT averaged 520,000 viewers on the Syfy network, the exact same number as last week. It was the second consecutive week that NXT aired on Syfy due to a scheduling conflict with the Olympics. NXT will be back on USA Network next Tuesday.
This matches the lowest-ever viewership number for NXT, but that comparison isn’t fair due to the move to a lower profile, and unfamiliar, station.
In the 18-49 demo, NXT drew a 0.10 rating, down 16.7 percent from last week. That was also a record low for the show, which had seen slightly increased numbers in the demo just prior to the two-week hiatus from USA Network.
Year-over-year, NXT was down 30.9 percent in overall viewers and down 50 percent in the 18-49 demo.
