IN RING SEGMENT
Shield member, Dean Ambrose kicks off Monday Night Raw being interviewed in the ring about the rumors regarding him being used by The Shield. Ambrose admits there is a lot of truth to what got said last week as he has nothing and Seth and Roman are both champions.
Ambrose also states that Seth Rollins replaced him pretty quickly with Jason Jordan when he got injured last year and Dean then said he has thought about leaving the Shield, but he thinks about a lot of things. Dean asks if people are asking “why after all this time is he still in the Shield?” “Will he abandon them?”
Dean says maybe he is just waiting for the perfect time when nobody is looking or watching to slip a knife in their back. The footage then gets shown from last week when Ambrose walked back into the ring last week to join back with his brothers.
Ambrose says he could be on SmackDown right now because since he has come back all he has done is clean up other peoples messes, he says people should just judge him by his actions which were him stepping up and standing by his brothers.
He then claims that the Shield isn’t a brand, but its a brotherhood and they will always ride into battle together, making his point crystal clear. Before Ambrose gets time to leave the acting General Manager, Baron Corbin arrives.
Corbin says it was a really good story but all he hears is whining and asks him what’s the matter. Ambrose asks if Corbin is salty because he keeps trying to put The Shield down, but he can’t do it. Corbin says maybe his team fell short but Shield wasn’t running around and causing chaos, so he considers it a win. Corbin says he will give Dean three options for a match
1-He can face Seth Rollins for the Intercontinental Championship
2-He can face Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship
3-He can go one-on-one with Braun Strowman
Ambrose instead offers a secret option number four, him vs Corbin right now. The Lone Wolf declines that idea and says instead it will be Dean vs Strowman, right now.
BRAUN STROWMAN vs DEAN AMBROSE
Dean Ambrose attempts to take the fight to the Monster Amongst Men early on but a quick headbutt from Strowman puts Ambrose onto the mat immediately and he quickly begins to just throw him around the ring. Strowman continues to dominate Ambrose, who attempts to rag at Braun’s beard to get out of a hold, only for him to be planted back onto the mat.
Strowman then screams that “The Shield isn’t going to help you,” before slapping Ambrose who retaliates with a slap of his own, only to be rag dolled across the ring for his attempt to fight back. Dean Ambrose then manages to get some offence in by working the leg of Strowman, pinning him to the corner to light him up with some forearms, but once again Braun’s strength comes out on top.
Back from the break and Ambrose once again manages to get a few shots in whilst being on the top turnbuckle and he then puts his thumb in Strowman’s eye before pulling down the top rope which forces Braun to go out of the ring.
Braun then gets too caught up on revenge and Ambrose is able to dropkick Braun into the ropes but when he attempts it again Braun catches him and drives Dean down to the mat, once again cutting off Ambrose’s momentum.

Strowman then looked for the Powerslam but Ambrose managed to reverse and hit Dirty Deeds, but Ambrose can’t get to cover Braun quickly enough and Strowman managed to kick out at two before scrambling out of the ring. Dean gives his opponent no time to rest though, flying out of the ring with a suicide dive before pounding on him and taking the fight straight to the Monster before sidestepping him and sending Braun crashing into the steel steps.
With Ambrose giving chase to Braun back in the ring, Strowman manages to hit the Powerslam but Ambrose smartly rolls under the ropes to create some separation. Braun then stalks Ambrose on the outside and drives him to the floor, side first before lobbing him into the barricade.
Back in the ring and Strowman once again hits the Powerslam and didn’t even go for the cover, but before he can continue his beatdown, Roman Reigns heads down to the ring. The Big Dog immediately heads into the ring and hits a Superman Punch and out of nowhere Seth Rollins appears and hits a knee from the top rope before the duo sends Strowman crashing out of the ring.
Winner (as a result of a DQ): Braun Strowman
Baron Corbin then appears once again and says this is not the Shield show and says later tonight it will be Seth Rollins vs Drew McIntyre, and next, it will be Roman Reigns vs Dolph Ziggler.
