With next week’s WWE Backlash PPV we will see the return of Dual Branded PPV’s as the SmackDown Live and Monday Night Raw rosters will be sharing the spotlight for every PPV of the year as WWE looks to cut down on the number of PPV shows.
This is a risky decision because it can easily lead to the brand split becoming diluted and may see the company take fewer risks on talent lower down the card. However, there is a major benefit in the fact that last year there was simply too many PPV’s that many just felt like bumper editions of Raw, rather than a big event.
Hopefully, with the return of dual-branded shows, WWE will be able to make each one of them feel special with loaded cards, providing fans with a monthly night of wrestling they simply can’t miss. But, with this return won’t be simple and there are many things that the company needs to consider, and we will rank five of those in this list.
