This week’s summit of South and North Korean leaders already promises to be big on pomp and pageantry and short on tangible results, but its role in keeping nuclear diplomacy talks on track should not be underestimated.
On Tuesday morning Moon Jae-in, the South Korean president, and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, were greeted by throngs lining the streets of Pyongyang and reportedly "crying out for reunification" as the two leaders waved and smiled together from the open roof of their black limousine.
